The Prophecy

The Scroll of the One Lord’s Desire

And the Lord, who is One, looked upon the children of men and said,

“I have made the heavens and the earth, the stars in their courses and the breath of every living soul.

Yet the hearts of men are divided, and their worship is scattered like chaff before the wind.”

In the days of old, He stirred the fire of truth among the sons of the East,

And the Zoroastrians beheld the light, though dim and unsophisticated, yet kindled by the spark of monotheism.

They saw the battle between light and darkness, and in their yearning, they reached toward the One.

But unto the seed of Jacob was given a clearer voice,

For the Lord chose Israel, not for their might, but for the covenant’s sake.

And He spake unto them through prophets and signs, through fire and cloud, through law and mercy.

Of all the sons of Israel, Moses stood nearest the flame.

Face to face did he speak with the Lord, whom they called Yahweh,

And the mountain trembled at the sound of His voice.

In the fullness of time, the Word became flesh and dwelt among men.

Jesus, the Son of God, came not to destroy the law, but to fulfill it.

He opened the gates of worship to the Gentiles,

That all nations might know the Father, and call upon His name.

And after him, the Lord raised up Muhammad, peace be upon him,

A prophet from among the sons of Ishmael,

Who called his people to the worship of the One, whom he named Allah.

His voice was clear, his path straight, his message firm: “There is no god but God.”

And the Lord, who is not the God of confusion but of peace,

Shall bring alignment to the children of Abraham.

For the time shall come when the Mahdi, the Awaited One, shall arise—Imam Zaman, the Guide.

He shall call the faithful to unity, and the crescent and the cross shall draw near.

Some say he shall be Jesus, others that he shall walk beside him.

But this is sure: by his hand, the hearts of Muslims and Christians shall be softened toward one another.

Then shall the heavens open, and the Son of Man shall descend in glory,

As was spoken by the prophets of old.

And Christ shall gather the scattered flocks of Abraham,

And every tongue shall confess, and every knee shall bow,

That the Lord is One, and there is no other beside Him.

And in that day, the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Lord,

As the waters cover the sea.
